My aim is to meet people where they are, with sensitivity, compassion and emphasis on embodiment and grounding through treatments and/or somatic movement approach I offer.
Also, to empower people, when appropriate, with individual Chinese medical lifestyle advice.
I decided to become a therapist after overcoming my overwhelming health challenges over 20 years ago through practicing Qigong. This ignited my passion to go deeper into Chinese medical philosophy which naturally led me into studying traditional acupuncture.
Another big passion of mine is Craniosacral therapy, which has been helping to heal the consequences of birth trauma and various other issues.
I love experiencing various forms of somatic movement and dance, and expanding my knowledge related to different aspects of body, mind and spirit.
Currently I draw a lot of fresh inspiration from the Body Mind Centering®️ approach which has led me to complete their Somatic Movement Educator program, as well as continue studying on the Infant Development Movement Educator program.
Art and BMC®️ is also an area I enjoy exploring.
BMC®️ and Body Mind Centering®️ are registered service marks of Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen used with permission

To deepen the understanding of the therapies I practice and improve the service I offer the clients I work with, I am committed to continual professional development.
I also have experience of volunteering as an acupuncturist in a clinic for alcohol and substance misuse, which was the basis of my ongoing learning about various addictions and trauma.
All of the above are continually expanding the experience of treatments I do and my understandings from various points of view from both modern Western and traditional Eastern approaches to science, philosophy and spirituality within the context of health, holistic healing and general well-being.
